We are changing the structure for pricing, and we give discounts on volume and term, so I would mention that if I could. I'm really close to having that pricing updated, so I will give you what is public and then will send more later. Quote 1 is $7 The rest is in flux- I think the biggest thing you're not asking about is security. We’re the only service that has DDoS Management, as in, when a site is being attacked, we can manage the attack and attempt to filter out bad and allow good traffic through (I have to say attempt because there is no guarantee that a new attack won't appear). This is a premium service that only Neustar provides, all of the other providers have one choice- to shut down the DNS for the site being attacked. That's one of the reasons our customers value our service. If your business has a critical web presence, then shutting off DNS is not an option. -----Original Message----- From: beverly@dnscomparison.com [mailto:beverly@dnscomparison.com] Sent: Thursday, February 18, 2010 2:10 PM To: Safigan, Carla Subject: RE: dnscomparison site Carla, Here are the quotes I'm looking for - hoping to get the pricing for the exact same services from all the different providers (apples to apples, as you said). Quote 1 – DNS service for one domain; 10,000 monthly queries; 10 resource records. Quote 2 – DNS service for 10 domains; 1,000,000 monthly queries; 100 resource records. Quote 3 – DNS service for 100 domains; 10,000,000 monthly queries; 1,000 resource records. Pricing for any additional features, like Failover, Geo-DNS, etc. I’d also like to know what your policy is on query overages, if possible. Cheers! Beverly
